So I'm a pretty big Lupe Fiasco fan. He buys some awesome beats and can rap like none other. Not like rapping about cars and guns... he's more of a story teller.
I also like to read on occasion, one of my latest reads titled "What is the What" by Dave Eggers.
The reason I'm bringing up this book and Lupe Fiasco is that they both relate to each other. My favorite track on Lupe's newest album "The Cool" is called "Little Weapon", and it talks about the craziness in Sudan in relation to child-soldiers. What is the What is the story of one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, and what he went through to escape the living hell that was the first 15 years of his life.
